Description of Program:  The way we make and develop business relationships has changed rapidly in the past several years. No longer is it “who you know”. Now it is “who knows about you”. In this program, a panel of experts will discuss the following elements of utilizing social media as a business development tool for women lawyers: deploying social media as a powerful rainmaking tool for women lawyers; easing into social media without feeling overwhelmed by technology or information overload;  using social media to assess and expand your network; making yourself visible to the people who matter most; distinguishing between big networks and rich networks, and discussing why each matters; understanding privacy considerations; and proactively managing your reputation on and off-line.
